One of the most important things in life is learning how to deal with rejection, something those of us here at the Office of Undergraduate Admissions know a thing or two about. Remember: if you can’t get over the bitterness of receiving a rejection letter, just do what President Barack Obama did after two years at Occidental College — transfer. We are giving you the opportunity to start your life journey at a less prestigious intuition than Harvard, which will make your almost certain rise to success even more dramatic. It also provides another chapter for your memoir: “When I Decided That Enough Was Enough and Applied to Harvard Again.”
